I love doing holidays with my family. It gets harder and emotional some years as things change and people’s plans are different for the holidays. Last year was a bit of a different Thanksgiving for me. Close family was in another state than I was for the holiday so It was kind of challenging to get through but I made the best of it.

Same although I find it odd that a couple who has been together for about six years still do not spend holidays together. Relationships need to progress & before anyone gets in a knot about I love her vlogs it’s just I think about well it’s like they’re just dating still.

No right or wrong at all, but one thing I am thankful for is that my husband and I spent holidays with our own family before getting engaged/married bc it gave us the space to be with our own loved ones/do traditions we grew up with, and I think our families loved having us for as long as they could! Not that they didn’t want both of us around, but that their time with us wasn’t split from them. And now that I am married, it can be an adjustment to make holiday plans with both families, but it’s enjoyable to experience holidays as part of both families! If that makes sense. All this to say, no right or wrong, but just a perspective similar to yours. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk 💅🏻🎤

In St Pete -- if you haven't visited FloridaRama, you MUST go! It's part art installation, part Florida kitsch, part fever dream! It's FULL of photo ops! Also, don't sleep on Safety Harbor -- bunch of new restaurants in the last few years and one of the best farm-to-cup coffee shops called Cafe Vino Tinto. Take your mom and tell her I sent you (we went to HS together)!
