Just remember, brother, you don't need to win every war and repel every seige. In fact, there are some advantages one can gain through inactivity. If there is a force equal to your own in numbers, allow them to throw themselves at the walls of a fief and perhaps let them take it to weaken their forces so long as it can't be reinforced in time to re-even the fight
