Can you do flyaway fears? I post gymnastics progression if your interested! ❤️

Oooo I wish I could try a flyaway that would be so cool but I’m not even on team yet but when I get there I would love to try that into a pit and I don’t really have any tips for you but if your gym has a pit do it into that, get a spot, try some drills too

@@bayleebrooke677 Yeah flyaways are really fun once you get them but I have a gym and I’ve been trying to do it for like a year now! We have a pit to it’s really I’m un consistent and when I do flip it I hesitate before I flip and I don’t make it all the way over to my feet and it scares me! I am always scared I’m going to hit the bar etc.

Can can do it on a Trapze but letting go and flipping just scares me

@@CAROL-hr6zf you could try asking your coaches for some drills that you can do before you commit to the flyaway. Those should help you get a feel for the skill and to not hesitate. You can also have them spot you so that you can let go at the right time but they’re there to catch you if something goes wrong. This way you can get a feel for when the right time to let go is and it won’t be as scary if you can figure out the timing!

I love these videos :) could you please do a standing back handspring fear tip?
@bayleebrooke6773 жыл бұрын
Yes I need this I’m scared

I don’t have many tips as I’m physically unable to do backhand springs but make sure that when you do go you don’t stop in the middle. It doesn’t matter if you’re about to hit someone because hitting someone is a whole lot better than stoping halfway through. Remember to commit to the skill and don’t wait super long to go for it. The longer you stand there the more you fear it. Idk what you’re doing it on but try to get a coach or someone to spot you if needed or if you’re comfortable doing them on a trampoline or tumble trak do a bunch of them to get a feel for what the skill should feel like on the floor. I hope that this all makes sense and that it helps you!
