Great idea! Made possible by Fredospline's non destructive capabilities. I don't think we've really even begun to unlock the full potential of all the groundbreaking tools Fredo6 has gifted the SketchUp community with!

✠ Watching several of your videos, I concluded that many people who believe they need to migrate to other modeling software just DO NOT know the real potential of SketchUp and its plugins.

There is one moment in this video that is not entirely clear. At about 1:50, the author edits a Bezier curve on a curved surface. The vertices of the curve remain on the surface and continue to divide the surface into two parts. I tried to repeat the same thing, and nothing worked out for me - the verteces break off the surface and as a result, the curve does not divide the surface into two parts. It seems to me that this plugin (FredoSpline) cannot edit a bezier curve in such a way that the vertices will remain anchored to the surface. Am I right?
@TutorialsUp2 жыл бұрын
All Edges of the surface must be aligned with the vertices of the curve. that's why I used the same curve of the surface to divide the surface.
@Oleksandr-RK2 жыл бұрын
@@TutorialsUp I did exactly that. But my mistake was not exactly following the Z axis when editing. That is why it didn't work for me. Thanks! Great video! (as always)

Hey i really enjoy ur work and from a person in ur level i wanted to ask is it possible to design deconstructivisim buildings in sketch up ? for example daniel libeskind's work .. or should i go for 3ds max? thank you
@TutorialsUp3 жыл бұрын
Of course possible. I also made some tutorials on requests Turning Torso Arboskin Pavilion Beijing National Stadium Metropol Parasol Kouhsar Villa (available on my channel) you can even create more complex if you spend time on learning plugins but if you are going to learn both softwares from zero then go for 3ds Max for complex modeling.
@Y_bloushi3 жыл бұрын
@@TutorialsUp no im already 2nd year 2nd semester student and i can use sketchup pretty well but im aiming for more complex,, Thank you so much btw ^_^
@NBCNothingButCrap3 жыл бұрын
@@Y_bloushi What you mean by 'more complex'? Are they more to organic modelling?
@Y_bloushi3 жыл бұрын
@@NBCNothingButCrap No no its like in sketch up its not that obvious that we can make deconstructivism = organics designs such as zaha's frank gehry and daniel libeskind yet, tadao ando's work is pretty easy using sketch up, and deconstructivism is endless even only for concept designs that's why i was asking if it is possible.. i haven't seen anyone on KZbin tried to make any of daniel's work using sketch up only zaha's ..

2:57 - ein Hinweis, der nie übersehen werden sollte; zumindest nicht von den 3D-Druckern unter uns. a note that should never be overlooked; at least not by the 3D printers among us.
