The third one is 100% intended for side mount on a rifle. I have the S on my 1911 and it's great. The mini should definitely be on something compact.

Outstanding review on the olight choices. I was inclined to get the baldr S for a Masada, but I am reconsidering anda maybe I'll get the mini. One doubt I have is the light duration of the mini and the S, is it diferent or pretty much the same? Did you notice any difference in how they get locked in the pistol? Does the S version has a better locking mode with the two screws in the bottom? Or it does not changes anything? And finally, what about the charging time between the Baldr S and the Baldr Mini? Thanks again for the review, it did help me a lot.
