I know I already suggested Chinook from his Canadian heritage, but I’ve been looking at all these names I’ve been listed and here are my thoughts. At first I thought he needed a majestic name, He is a majestic ball. He’s going to be huge and he’s beautiful. Or a regal something to honor him. To me that was Idaho. His own individual name not a piece of something else. I like Tatonka too. Then watching him for the brief moment that we did, he seemed playful and more whimsical, so now I am liking, Catch 22 it’s whimsical. Good luck you’ve got some good names to choose from. I just say give him something that honors him. No one else!

I'm so excited, he is just a beauty!! As for a name... you could consider calling him NASH. The name "Nashoba" is used as a first name that comes from the Choctaw word for wolf, and symbolizes strength, intelligence, and adaptability.

What about the name Rocky. It could be an homage to the Rocky Mountains as he came from Idaho and also a Canadian parent. Also it is a strong majestic name for the bull he is surely to become. As well the name Rocky makes me think of Bullwinkle. I think Bullwinkle would be a cute name for a bull bison too! Name ideas from an Idahoan: Teton, Stanley, Grand Jean, Montour or Monte, Jerome, Blaine, Perce for Nez Perce, Fremont, Clark, Bingham. They're mostly the counties of Idaho. Grand Jean is a back country area with old cabins at the base of the Sawtooth Mountain range. The old singer Tennessee Ernie Ford had his Summer cabin there. It's a beautiful step back in time when in the area. Perhaps someday your family can visit!
