The Polynesian has always been my favorite! I have such wonderful memories there as a kid! We used to take my grandad with us & he used to love sitting by the pool watching us swim while he enjoyed his cocktails that he thought were alcohol free (he liked a drink on special occasions, but that was it) because he wanted all the character cups…the first time we went, we got out of the pool & he was completely sauced & chatting to everyone around him 🤣😎😂 When my parents cleaned out his house after his passing (many, many years later), he still had all those cups tucked away…the staff couldn’t have been nicer to us! I was not excited to sleep on a rollaway bed & the concierge said, “Oh, this is a special luau bed!” And she just made it seem so fun! It’s always been expensive, though. Back in the day, my parents were able to get a residency discount & a military discount & we always used to go during January/February, so it was a bit cheaper. I’m so glad you guys enjoyed it!

The Poly’s King Kamehameha Club level is the way to go! We would go there every summer and made wonderful memories. Now that the kids are older, the Epcot resorts are their favorites :)

If anyone belongs there….its you! You and Dean spend so much time at Disney…think about how much of your hard earned money you spend with the Disney company per year. Think about how much advertising you do for them. Trust me….you belong there! I feel like it’s the least they could do 😂. My favorite part of this vid is dinner at Kona. I can totally relate to what you’re going through as far as hitting a wall with your girls. Eating in restaurants with children can be so stressful! Thank you for sharing your experience. It actually makes me feel better to know I’m not alone lol!

Grand Floridian is more expensive than this but has bigger savings 35% discount for grand flo as cheap as $477 while Polynesian only has a 10% discount

Wow what an upgrade! Love to see them doing that for family’s. IMO Ohana for breakfast at $157 for 2 adults 1 child is a totally waste but you have to do it atleast 1 time! I Feel like you pay for the characters and atmosphere more than anything. My son had a rough morning there and barely ate and want to leave fast… we were disappointed but that’s kids for ya lol

🚝The Poly is gorgeous. I had a $1,000 upgrade for a whole week last year that brought me from a low moderate resort to the Contemporary it was amazing, absolutely gorgeous you can walk to the Magic Kingdom. I cried my eyes out when I got to that room. I was so excited. It was so wonderful. When you were in Ohana I cried when I saw Mickey I just love seeing Mickey and like a five-year-old. I’m gonna be there next year for my 65th birthday and I still love seeing Mickey like a five-year-old love it so fun 🚆
