This song hits close and hard. I'm from Cincinnati and the youngest. I lost my mom to brain cancer in 2017. When I got the call that it was time, I did everything to be there by her side because I was her baby. And yes, I cried just like a baby. And still do... great reaction bud. Thank you

I burned that song on a disc for my mom when my baby brother was in Iraq in the early 2000s and after she passed away a few years ago, it hits different.

I lost my mom 3 months ago and I never got to say goodbye either. I love Blake and he was great then and great now. Nobody better in my opinion.

I’m here from TikTok, this came up on my FYP. So this song is so personal to me. First I loved this song when it came out. Im “the baby” of five and a lot of what he said is spot on to my life and family. Mom always called me her baby, I got annoyed with it in my teenage years but no matter what, she called me her baby. Unfortunately 12/29/2020, the worst day of my life, mom passed away in her sleep from Covid. She was only 58. “She looked like she was sleeping, my family had been wearing, by the time I got to her side, I softly kissed that lady and cried just like a baby” I did that, she looked like she was sleeping and I kissed her cold forehead. She was at home in bed (discharged from the hospital three days prior .) so thanks for that cry today 😭

Oooh, this one just broke me! I was on holiday in London sitting in a theater, just before the musical 'Phantom of the Opera' should begin. I got a phone call from my sister that my mom was very sick, in and out of awareness. I Said I'll take a plane right away to come home. She said don't hurry, she'll wait for you, cause she's asking for you every time she's awake. I asked my sister to put her phone to her ear, so I could tell how much I loved her, If I didn't reach back in time. I couldn't get out of the theater, so surrounded by thousands of people I told her how proud I was of being her son and how much I loved her, During my 'speak' she suddenly said my name, nothing else, and passed out again. I told her It was OK to let go now and she'ld be better off, where she was going now and I'll look her up, when It was my time! I told my wife and daughter what happened and they wanted to go back to our country right away, but deep inside I knew we wouldn't get back in time! The musical started, but I just kept starring on my phone .... 15 min. later I got a text that my mom passed away! Sitting in the theater, surrounded by all those, to me, strange people and my wife and daughter next to me was a very odd situation. I chose not to say anything at all. All through the first part, I just sat in my chair starring right out i the open air (Read: In the back of the head of the guy in front of me), with the tears rolling down my cheeks. My wife noticed it and just took my hand! I have heard this track many times before, maybe more as a 'noise' in the back, but only by watching this react video, made me think of my own very similar experience. It sent me right back in that theater to 2004 in London experiencing it all over again... Thank you, both!

This song kills me. Just like in the song I'm the youngest of 3 boys. I've worked a few different jobs like Blake and live separate from my family. And I'm truly the baby. And I'm terrified of getting that call.

This song reminds me of my dad and his brother. They had to watch their moms cancer destroy her. They stuck by her side. She was only 50.It screwed their head up completely. They were both hard workers, crawfishing in Louisiana, I saw two strong men break like babies. She died with the biggest smile on her face.
