FIFTY years single and someone shows up from nowhere to ask you out… whew scary! She wasn’t hardened by the years and willing to seek out advice and God’s will. For me it’s like jumping into the unknown vast universe! I don’t think I am capable of anything like that… Everything in their lives and stories is about Jesus like… it can’t be real to have such a blessed life and story. Just wow

Yes it can happen. We can make a mess of our lives but God turned it around for me and my husband of 24 yrs. It would not have been impossible without the Lord. We used to have to get food from ministries because we didn't have enough. Now we don't have to do that anymore. And foods more expensive which makes no sense but God...❤

I met a missionary couple and the husband asked if I knew Nancy. I said NO. He forwarded a couple of her videos to me. I landed here today and I stand in awe of God, thrilled by His majesty. If in His sovereignty He wills to exchange my gift of singleness for the gift of marriage, or not, either way, I choose this day to hold loosely to everything and everyone, and live my life for Jesus. I am speechless. This has greatly moved my heart into a different perspective of seeing marriage as a blessing from God to sanctify me more of my walk. I had this thinking that I should be single for the rest of the life and Nancy's story never failed to point it our to me. As this is the second video I watched from your channel after "praying woman" story, this never failed to bring down tears to me. It went directly to my heart and I knew God is waiting for my answer. For two weeks, He has lead me to their story. May His will be down unto me. For whatever He sees as good, pure, and acceptable, His will is my delight. As a 49 year old unmarried woman who has remained chaste my entire life, I often feel confused by messages from the Church: 1- Get married, your life doesn't until you can be fruitful and multiply or 2- singleness is the "real gift" because marriage is filled with trouble. I just watched your wedding and wondered, who are these people and what a wedding! I've never seen nor have been to a wedding so dedicated to Jesus first then the bride and groom. I am a Christian and love the Lord Jesus with all my heart! I thourely enjoyed this wedding ceremony! Then to my surprise there i seen another KZbin story if the bride and groom before they got married. It was the story behind the wedding!!! And as I watched and listened to you Nancy described your life and dedication to God, I felt so less of a servant of God! I know that is not what your story was to do to people who watched it, but I felt like wow, this person has dedicated her entire life to the lord. Nothing but serving Jesus and sharing the gospel to all who come in your path. I listened to your beautiful story and really understood your questions of what could be the next chapter of your life. I understood how you would want God to direct you in this change because all you had known and served was Jesus as a woman who was single. I truly enjoyed listening how you got your answers from God, and how others were words of God directing you. Your story is truly beautiful. No one ever told me to wait for God's best for my life so I made many mistakes. Once God sent me to Maui and to go to a church where I came to love Jesus in a man. He played the piano for the church and we sang together many times and I felt God's love for him and knew that God sent me to him. The pastor's wife said that he loved me also but Unfortunately it did not work out because he was influenced by a local totally unscriptural teacher. I came back to the mainland and instead of getting my heart right with God I met and married someone while on the rebound and married amiss. I thank God for my wonderful children but know that I missed out on God's best. When I hear of Nancy's story I see that she did it right and I am so proud for her.

Beth Williams... God's will doesnt work that way. Your marriage is what God will use to sanctify you and whether you got married going to church or not doesnt make a difference because you have already given GOd your heart. My father was the pastor of the church were I met my husband and even though he didnt have a ministry he was very committed to the church. However, even though he still attends with me, he went back to his old life but my faith says not for long because God knew he was weak and I know that He puts us in a man's life just as he put Eve for Adam. We do not choose our husbands. God chooses them for us and sends them our way for us to be chosen. So whenever you think of the past... REMEMBER God has a better future for you and make no mistake that YOU are exactly where you WANTS you to be. If that man was taking advices from someone unscriptural then God gave you someone much better but you need to ask God to help you see the LEADER he wants to make of your husband. email me anytime [e-mail] I will be praying for you.

Not true. The Bible refers to God's highest calling as a summons to something important, noble, and vital. It is a call to be saved, to be a witness to the gospel, and to be holy. The Bible also says that God values people for who they are, not for their achievements. God's highest calling for each person is to surrender themselves to Him for whatever He asks. He has a place and purpose for each of us.

I greatly enjoy Revive our hearts and Nancy. Cant they both admit they had a desire for romance, a partner, marriage. Simply. I can only presume they are of Calvinistic, reformed Theology excluding their human desire for companionship in this story. Lovely they found each other. Kudos to the man who persisted!
