Stores have insurance on all the items in the store if anything missing end of the yr they get it back from insurance. Grocery stores they wait for u to steal alot to build a case like over a certain amount so they get a bigger charge not for $2.00 juice lol. No cop will go to the grocery store to arrest someone for $2 lol the cop will give the manager at the store 💩 lol for wasting his time the gas for the cop to come to arrest u at the store will be more then the $2.00 plus they won’t come. No competent manager will call the cops for $2.00 theft at the store lol 😂😂😂 .

I had this same problem I got this message I scanned each item I bought I had it on the left table by the self serve machine. As I scanned each one I put the item to the right table the table by the self serve the table so small no space to place items then I hear this message unexpected item in bagging area remove item from bagging area so I took all 6 items I purchased I put on the floor because I thought that was what it meant? then I look at the screen it shows all 6 items on the screen but beside each item it shows 6 red x marks beside each item so I got confused I asked for assistance a girl who works by the self serve checkout to assist customers in need of help. She came and I think she put in a code to by pass this error so confusing I did not understand this message unexpected item in bagging area remove item from bagging area ? so I took my items from bagging area and put on the floor I thought that was what it meant ? Then i had problems paying for my items by credit card lol I scan error message ask for assistance again then finally it worked and I got receipt and left never again I’m using self serve checkout better cashier to pay for my items. 🤬🤬🤬
