I can relate. I had preeclampsia with my first born. Had to be induced at 38 weeks and had 80 pounds of fluid after he was born. I had to take a diuretic for 10 days to get rid of the fluid. I was so scared and couldn’t breathe due to the fluid. Good thing to hear you didn’t get preeclampsia.

Glad you’re feeling better! I opted for a vbac for my second delivery and had complications during and postpartum. Looking back the c-section was not bad haha

Congrats to you both !! 🎉 your babygirl is gorgeous! Sadie I hope your doing well & continue to take care of yourself Its really good you didn’t get preeclampsia with all the symptoms you where experiencing. I am a mother of 2 & due with my 3rd any day now as well & I got preeclampsia postpartum with my 2nd bby & had similar symptoms when I was released from the hospital & was home & got migraines with light sensitivity & lack of energy & I knew something was wrong when my head pain increased & didn’t stop & I knew I needed to return to the hospital & unfortunately mine turned into eclampsia & I ended up having a seizure in the ER & had to stay 2 weeks to recover from the seizure & during that time I was not allowed to have my baby stay with me & I was unable to breastfeed & pump because of all the high blood pressure & harsh medication I was on which gave me anxiety attacks throughout the nights but thankfully I had a great support system & my mom & my spouse had the baby with them & she was safe & during the day I could see her supervised with nurses until I fully recovered & was able to return home. But ultimately if you have any symptoms don’t hesitate to go back to the hospital because its better to be on the safe side when your postpartum & trust I couldn’t stand leaving my kids to go back to the hospital but I learned it is important us mamas recover properly because yes we bring life into this world but we sometimes have to take extra time & help our own bodies from an experience like labor & birth.

Buy a gift for your older one and say that it’s from the baby. We made sure to give it to my older one the day he came home. Just make time here and there to spend one on one. The newborn sleeps a lot. I did this a lot. Once my older one went to bed we spend so much one on one before bed. Have your toddler help your with small tasks to feel included. ❤ we also had a baby that my older one would practice feeding with the bottle and pretend just to get him ready. congrats! Oh and start reading books about bringing home a new baby etc. that was helpful😊

Gosh Sadie ! Congrats again on your beautiful tanned beauty !! She’ll lighten up soon ! I had to laugh when I saw you laying in bed with your fall blankets !! I remember the days of my baby birth stories ! I’m 64 now and I’m a grandma ! I feel like I’m 30 still ( wth happened ) enjoy your babies for as long as you can because soon you’ll be a grandma too and think wth and where did the time go lol !! I can’t even believe I’m a grandma ( mind blowing) ❤❤❤

Congratulations! It really is hard seeing your older one adjust. Mine are 2 years apart. Try not to be to hard on yourself. Just take 10 min here and there throughout the day to spend time with him. Even if it’s snuggling watching a movie. He will get there. Congratulations again!❤

I haven’t in over a year! They’re actually really thin right now but towards the end of my pregnancy they swelled up! Now that my swelling is down, so are my lips lol
