Impressive, well done guys. I love the comment " I want to take it easy on the Adventra " as you're climbing Billy Goat Bluff, I know you were taking it easy but it just sounded funny in the context that you said it. Well that's one track crossed off the list, next challenge is to do it again towing the Tvan.... :)

Seasonal closures around the corner, so if you want to make a plan to get out there in the next few weeks and tick that bad boy off.

@@AllTerrainAction oh really! Might actually plan smtg. Most likely coming up to winter always forget they do closures

I was avoiding the right side as much as possible, that’s the cliff side and it was nothing but black out that way. If it was day I probably could have skirted right more for better traction. I think it’s pretty obvious a mistake even slightly off the edge could have been fatal.

I havent had a good night run in way too long. One ggos thing filming at night gives you a bit more of a sense of the steepness

I found your channel today 👍 is you car standard? I have a 2017 Santa Fe and don’t think I have enough clearance for easy tracks
@AllTerrainAction6 ай бұрын
Clearance is the main thing before anything else, can’t drive something you can’t clear. The reality is though even if a vehicle is AWD or 4WD you need to understand how the systems differentiate. What’s your objective?
@traceydal6 ай бұрын
My husband and I want to start 4wd, just moderate tracks. That track is insane
@timwhelan43474 ай бұрын
@@traceydal yes I wouldnt do that if you are a newbie, you will have brown pants. :-) I have done it in a stock challenger, but I have done lots of hard tracks. ( though that is all relative) start small and easy to build up your confidence, and yep go with others.

Hi mate I've been looking at addys for off road ability is the lx6 the best version to get and what sort or fuel consumption do you get off road and on road thanks for any help tou can give 👍👍
@AllTerrainAction6 ай бұрын
CX6 IMO is the best option, but requires most work to get it off-road ready as you would need to retrofit some LX6 stuff into it. The issue is I think you dont want the default sunroof in the LX but want the rear suspension setup. Otherwise there are some alternative suspension options in the rear that isnt standard. My advice though... if it is not as extreme as we are going, CX6 + lift kit 1.5" oversize tyres and brake upgrade for improve BLD braking systems for offroad traction control. Then work your way up from there. If you will defintley be towing, you will need the LX rear suspension or something that will give you more rear lift.

It's quite a rough track. Out of interest what tyre pressures did you run for the climb?
@AllTerrainAction6 ай бұрын
23psi KENDA RT's, this is a good pressure for us as if we drive around gravel tracks in between we sit around 25psi driving and back down to 23psi when tracking slowly - highly rate them a video is coming soon about my experience using them over the BFG KO2's and also the Falken ATW3's
