@@JDACST at this point you may wanna look at the Poco X3 instead. The Redmi Note 8 Pro is going for P13K at the Xiaomi Official Shopee store, and so is the Poco X3. Maybe you can grab the Poco X3 this September 30 for a bit less. The only thing I don't like about the X3 is the plastic back, which won't last as well as a glass back if you keep wiping it.

Been using my Redmi Note 8 Pro for more than 6 months now and it's been a great phone. I don't game much though, but the games I have played on it played well and were mostly free from lags and such. The only thing I don't like about it is the weak vibrator motor. The vibration feels really cheap. Maybe that's the one thing Redmi can improve upon. But overall, for the P10,758 I paid for it back in March, it's a pretty solid phone. You just have to disable ads and data collection and it's all good. Oh and one last thing: I notice that the storage is somehow being eaten by an unknown app or something. I don't know if it boils down to individual apps downloading their own stuff, but after cleaning the cache using Xiaomi's app (which does a good job I think and is pretty convincing) and Google Files' cleanup app, and after clearing the cache of all the apps, I don't know why I'm constantly missing some space. Maybe Xiaomi is downloading stuff or whatever.

Just bought the phone, played some graphic heavy games like PES20, MODERN COMBAT, AND ASPHALT 9. Games run smoothly. The bench mark score showed on your video is way to low from what I get. I got 280k plus score

If you are playing competitive type of game such as CODM, Mobile Legends and PUBGM the most important thing is the frame rate not the graphics. Playing PUBGM in HDR settings and Ultra frame rate wont get you to 60Fps. In fact most player would do smooth graphic settings and extreme frame rate to get the most experience in the game. Even in esport tournament the players would choose the lowest graphic settings but putting the highest settings for frame rate. This wasn't much of a gaming review. Having a good understanding on the phone spec and its capabilities is important in addition you also need to know how graphics and frame rate work in each game.

Yup. That's why I recommend lowering settings to get games running at smoother frame rates. I play on medium when I'm not testing so I don't get as many drops. The idea here is to push the phones to the limit to see what it can really do. I appreciate the input though. ✌️

I still prefer the SD and adreno combo though. Why? 1st Mtk still has a lot to prove with their soc's. 2nd, SD is tje most prefered soc of developers specialy with the adreno gpu. Thats just my own opinion though. Feel free to react but with respect. Pls. Spread love not hate. 🙂 Hi po sir jamie!

in this price, amoled is possible. as Xiaomi used to provide flagship phones @$240-260 along with flagship gpu and cpu with amoled display. now only thing that changed is their greed increased. the phones sucks for the amount of money you pay. $300+ doller but still no amoled?that sucks. and most gpu sucks as well while they advertise their cpu only and not the bad gpu with it.(don't compare with oneplus and samsung u dumb)
