UNEXPECTED Snowstorm Leads to Thrilling Overland Adventure in Mount Baker National Forest

On this week's adventure Rasta and I continued our adventure into the Northern Washington landscape. My plan was to go on a hike and have a relaxing day, but nature had different plans and decided to gift us with a Thrilling Snow day adventure at the beginning of Summer.

It was amazing. Only thing I would have changed, HEAT. Because it was cold. - left the diesel heater home because I didn’t think I’d need it.

Fresh snow is great till it starts bringing down trees all around you or covers up old winter snow. Beautiful country, lived north of Bremerton for a few years.

Yup! I totally agree. That was my only worry about getting back out of the area. It was very wet heavy snow!
