Good evening guys. Sungai Lembing is nice and quiet small kampumg, I'm glad you guys have chosen this place. Actually this is my favourite place too. Whenever I want to escape Kuala Lumpur. I would jump on to my bike and ride 4 hours to reach Sungai Lembing. About the old plane, the owner actually wanted to convert it into something to rent it out to tourists. However, due to COVID-19 the project was scraped.

Yes, can u suggest any interesting place n things to do in cherating... I am going there on 29th Oct... Thinking of going straight to kemaman from kl to have tong juan's stuffed crab then maybe to rimbun dahan turtle hatchery/sanctuary for the baby turtles (releasing them to open sea)... And on the way back to kl thinking of a stop by in termeloh at the vanilla farm... But I can't think of activities to do in between (except cafe hopping ie. To kulakek n 98 degrees)

I think the owner ask to take it down. One possible reason is they don't want it to be tourist attraction. They spent a fortune to buy and transport the plane. The project might be stalled due to some reasons
@@mohdk2299 well they can do another way of tourist attraction, make it into a cafe perhaps so that people can dine in inside the airplane. And name it the Lost Plane CaFe where Now Everyone Can Have a Dinner On a Plane. 😆

The plane you stumbled upon is a former Malaysia Airlines Boeing 737-400. They were retired around 2008-2010. Towards the end of their long careers they received this gaudy looking seats (known amongst Malaysian aviation enthusiasts as the M&M seats). Just FYI.

Hi guys. Sungai Lembing looks like a fun laidback place. Did you guys go down into the underground gold mine? And I am quite curious does the petrol pump at the center of town actually works? Another thing is that locally, we have certain taboos when in the jungle such as not calling the names of wild animals like snakes or tigers, some believe they will come out when you say snakes or tigers when jungle. They will use terms like "Pak Belang" meaning "The Striped Ones" instead when referring to tiger. If you are interested to experience the Malaysian jungle, can consider visiting Taman Negara which is a huge protected jungle in central Peninsular Malaysia. Can even visit the aborigine tribes staying there.
@Travelgramers4 жыл бұрын
We didn’t visit the mines but Jetlag Warriors did so you can watch their video 😉 The petrol pump doesn’t work it’s there for decoration I guess. In regards to calling the wild animals we knew about but in this case we didn’t think people were “superstitious” there as it’s a tourist spot 😉😉🙃

@@Travelgramers another recommendation is to take the bus from Kuantan to Mersing & hop on a ferry to Pulau Tioman. That is a really nice island.
