I think TNC should implement a bonus rule for these PPV games if it’s pro basketball you shouldn’t be able to spam foul even if you have 1 foul to give per possession with no real penalty . So 10 foul limit per half, once someone has committed their 10th foul a free throws worth 1 point should be awarded and each time they commit a foul after that they shoot a free throw. Fresh restart at halftime. I understand 1v1 is a street ball thing but now you’ve made it professional their not a professional sport in the world where you can commit a continuous fouls and not either get disqualified, ejected, or suspended. I want great games I have my favorite but idc about wins and losses everyone in this scene will lose or has loss. Victory or defeat only tell a small bit of the fight/game. You remember fights bc of the action in the fights. These games to me will be looked at the same way and a clean game of basketball allows for special stories.

Skoob wanted to win and he won while Rob played like it doesn't matter and he lost. I DON'T KNOW what's wrong with Rob but it's like he purposefully plays at 80% just so when he wins it looks like he won without even trying. Unfortunately though Rob needed more than 80% to beat Skoob. Rob literally tried to win by force and Skoob met his force with another force. Rob didn't adjust at all, he did no pacing, no counters, no hesi, crossovers, midrange shots, nothing. Rob literally got his 3 taken away from him and he decided to just run through Skoob to the paint, you can't win like that. The same thing happened with Friga and Nas, the only difference is that Rob has the strength to force a bucket while Friga couldn't.

I think that’s the point ppl are making tho B Ellis. Rob plays the most honest defense on YT! He’s def not perfect, but the fact that you believe Skoob would get dog walked by playing honest defense where u have to slide your feet, not use your hands and beat the offensive player to the spot is where ppl are saying it’s the difference in skill! Skoob played honest defense for the most part at Frigmas and we saw the result. Skoob’s gameplan was perfect, and was allowed to use his hands & body alil while Rob drove to the basket, and smothered him at the top so he didn’t have free range of movement to get momentum to go downhill. It was smart, but in a non 1v1/YT space, ppl want you to sit down, show hands and slide your feet, especially when we talking about 4 dribbles only.

The difference in this game is the response to calls. Rob complained the whole game about what he felt was a foul. It affected the way he played. Skoob would say what he got to say then lock back into the game. That is when trench play come into affect. 😊

Rob just wants to look cool and chill whilst winning games, he's been blowing people out with the ability to go on run and shoot from the parking lot to get woos and ahhhs, he's been like that for youtube games and get wins and obviously it's his habit. If he doesn't win it looks like he's not trying, good players tends to do that when they keep playing comps that they win all the time, like rob wins most of youtube games. Great effort from Skoob really a hooper with big heart. Go watch them 5s if Rob get stripped he ain't finna run back and hustle. But all in all Rob's offence is dangerous from the parking lot just wit the ability to shoot deep. This is why I say remove the hand check ing. Because it allows for you to play honest defense and also allows a lot more skill to be shown. Rob is probably the only person on KZbin who plays honest even if he’s getting fouled. Playing defense with your hands is park style play. I want to see skill not a prison match but good game overall.

Rob didn't want to win badly enough. It's really that simple. Rob is bigger than him and didn't play like it. If Scoob is out there fouling and being physical you match that energy and you send him on his ass every possession. Doesn't matter if he's shooting jumpers. Send him on his ass. He's driving? Send him on his ass. He's dribbling? Beat him to the spot and send him on his ass. He reaches in? Use that elbow, make some space. You drive and he's trying to hug/slapping the shit out of your arm? Use that elbow. You drive to the rim and he's trying to strip you? Lift that elbow up. You in the triple threat? Dig your elbow into his sides to make space. Do an aggressive jab into the midsection to make him back off, make him respect your space. What you can't do is let Scoob punk you and that's what Rob did. He let Scoob punk him. They have similar levels of skill but Scoob wanted it more. His reputation was on the line and Scoob played like it. Rob didn't. A W is a W.

Here’s the thing B. I feel everything you are saying. Being strategic to foul, having fouls to give, etc. I feel you. But, nowhere on any basketball platform you have unlimited fouls to play with. Being strategic with fouls is part of the game, youth ball, middle school, high school, AAU, college, nba, overseas, all that. BUT, there’s a cap to that. Players can foul out. I’m not saying this has to be the case here because we playing ones. But, if your strategy is to foul because you can’t cleanly guard someone more times then fouling is going to be a major issue moving forward. You guys have built this platform to be clean one vs one basketball to rival the NBA. You guys kinda flirted with the so called “trenches” basketball with this one. I look at TNC as the UFC (like you guys have been modeling) and “trenches” as PRIDE fighting. Just want it cleaned up a little. Especially if we playing for so much money.

I think the refs are sometimes influenced by the size of bigger players like Nas, Rob, Zae bc throughout the co main and main event there are definitely some questionable calls bc if Rob were to exploit somethings that skoob was doing this game either would’ve been a free throw fest or Rob would win like 30-13 but bc he attempted to play a clean game and not make it grimy and dirty he payed the price and ultimately the man who had that hunger (skoob) won. This lost is 100% on Rob he was up numerous times throughout this game and when Rob is hooping he’s my favorite in the scene but he’s too friendly I get he’s a respectful dude and I commend him on not putting on a façade, but now he should view it as a business and while still trying to be cool with everyone. They’re countless training partners that have fought in sanction bouts. Nas is perfect for this scene bc he does well separating the relationship and business. Rob should know that at some point he has to match up with everyone in the space but this loss is good for him now that the weight of being undefeated is gone but going forward I’d like to see an unhinged version of him stop helping ppl up, spiteful drives to the basketball no man should be chilling after a loss like this it’s time to suit up

Robs first pos - No fouls. Rob took 4 steps to shoot an air ball... Robs 2nd - Clearly no contact for a foul call... Robs 3rd - Travels immediately after grabbing the ball. Rob KIND OF gets fouled. Only because he flopped into it CLEARLY... Robs 4th - AGAIN he takes two steps AFTER he contacted the inbound ball. AGAIN takes more than at least 3 steps before the shot = TRAVEL! Robs 5th - Makes a 3 because Skoob let him... Robs 6th - Really good CLEAN defense from Skoob. Once again, Rob omega flops for nothing.... Robs 7th - B Ellis is wrong. Rob jumped INTO SKOOB to try and flop again... Ref should have let it go. Robs 8th - Slight foul got called. Robs 9th - Baby foul called for a light breeze push... @ 14:00 Skoob was fouled on his arm clearly. Robs prior pos he didnt even get touched.... I can really go on and on. Rob got fuckin dusted fairly. You can tell who REALLY hoops and who just plays with their homies. This aint the NBA kiddos. Its street ball. One hand on a hip is GOOD defense. If you call that shit at any park I know of, they will kick you off the court. People really just need to stop crying over their light skinned boy crush getting mopped. Skoob played a great game. All I’ll say is, I don’t necessarily think scoob or Nas for that matter were “hacking” but I will tell anybody to go watch iso tae play defense in all his 1v1s. Reason why he my favorite to watch, win or lose is because he gone guard you honest. No hands, slides his feet, contest without fouling. Prime example, go watch the friga vs tae 1v1. Friga looked comfortable because tae is no using his hands to guard friga which allows friga to get good shots. And let’s be honest about it. If tae guarded friga the same way nas did or scoob guarding rob. It would have looked the same because for the people that watch, all of us know tae one of the best on ball defenders across all the platforms and for sure a better defender than nas. Again, I think nas wins either way but I would personally like to see most of these guys play more honest defense regardless of what the ref lets you get away with. Ps. There is a 1 v1 nas plays on the streetstars platform I think we’re the ref literally called him every time for that exact thing( playing hands on ) he still won that game but it was an ugly showing.

I don't think the calls were one-sided enough to not be a fair win, however there were some blatant missed calls. 2 on Robs 3s and Skoob got those calls, 1 at the rim, 2 hands on the drive twice, 1 Rob got hit in the face with Skoob trying to poke the ball out. Only 3 calls were Rob should have been shooting free throws. I don't think changes much at the end of the day
