“As If It Never Was” makes me feel such deep longing and sadness as I listen. Makes me have a deep, painful cry… Because my husband and I got shunned by my religious family, July 2021. We left the religion they’re apart of, and spoke up about the things they were hiding. They didn’t like that, so they shunned us. It’s been almost a year, and the pain is still as raw as it was the day it happened. The grief is immense. The actual instrumentation of the song is what helped make me emotional in the first place…. Invent Animate has become such a band that it makes me feel the deep and sad parts of my past and yet it makes me feel that they were so beautiful. This band is so good, their sound changed and this sound is so good. I FREAKING LOVE YOUR MUSIC 🥰🖤

What a fantastic EP. I just wish they made a single track on Spotify for the whole thing. It doesn't do it justice to hear only The Sun Sleeps, for miss the interlude before As If It Never Was.

I've listened to the EP tens of times now but I never truly appreciated how well the video was made until now. There's details in every frame. The contrast has been tweaked to give it a darker tone when she's in the sunflower field. And the effects on the players really transmits the emotions. Really solid!

I've listened to this over 20 times now, and it is easily my favorite thing to have come out in a long time. The more I listen, the more emotion I comprehend and then want to listen more. Thank you for this.

This is the only 10+ minute song that I listen to like repeatedly. End to end it's amazing.

Cathartic soundscapes. How can a band be this good?

This is amazing!! I'm just confused as to how everyone is all of a sudden thinking they improved so much when many of you must have a bad memory for not realizing that Greyview is like the best album of all time, it's all top-tier, and ppl seem to not realize how much a masterpiece "Dark" is. Best song ever.

So glad I came around to the new vocalist some months ago. The ending breakdown at 10:02 sends shivers down my spine with the intensity of 10,000 ice ages. It's the best part I swear.
