Correct, I have met people in Laddakh who have done it on Activa and that too beginning from Kolkotta. and also one fellow who did Laddakh on TVS 100XL. and some do it on a bicycle.. When we say Laddakh we mean the ease with which you can do it. this does not mean that other bikes cant do it and just to give an idea to those who have not done Laddakh. I think Laddakh is more about your mindset and a sence of achievement. Cheers and happy riding

Very nice detailed discussion.. No Centre stand , less tank range , Heating in traffic , minimal service station are the major issue of this bike ... Major Plus are suspension , handling , higher power, and tractibillity of engine

I am so glad to hear the gentleman talk about the gear shifting. It's been a month since I got my Speed 400, and the only minor discomfort that I felt was around shifting gears. At certain RPMs it shifts like butter, but 60% of the times, it kind of feeling like there's some friction. My last bike was a Yamaha, so I kind of had get used to Triumph. But all said and done, it's a beautiful and capable motorcycle. Also, loved this video!

A very informative vlog brother ! Includes a comparo as well as the pros and cons of the bike. That 10mm comfort zone mentioned is an extremely valid and practical point. Have personally faced that numerous times. Quite engaging vlogs you make ! 👍 Just curious, what sunglass is the owner of the bike wearing ??

Watching this video second time and knowing about Triumph Speed. Manish Ji I gave my range & road test on Suzuki GSX125 here in Melbourne. It felt heavy and I asked the instructor who said it’s 148 kilos. Riding was good and I drove first time on gear 5 & 6 on 50, 60 & 70 kmph roads. It was fun but I felt tired in my lower back during evening but I went to play volleyball from 6 to 8 pm. Meaning that a compact looking slightly heavy machine with low seat height impacts your lower back. This is what I am feeling for Triumph but definitely I am going to have a test ride if available at Chandigarh/ Mohali. I was dead sure of buying CB350 Dlx Pro but now Triumph is coming on my mind. I have couple of Bikers in my Mohali Society.
How is the gear shifting for you? I find the gear shifting really hard specially when upshifting

Sir for tank range and city usage I am going for CB 350 rs instead of speed and Scrambler. Since I commute to office. But will CB350 rs be enough with pillion on mountain or do you think it will show powerloss in case I go to ladakh and higher altitudes?
@RishiRajKoul6 ай бұрын
CB 350 in its own way is a good bike. Its smooth, well balanced, light clutch, smooth gear shifts, good looking as well. People have done all hills with CB 350, and ALL bikes loose some power above 13000 feet. CB 350 has enough power for 2 riders and luggage on hills. It is just that Speed 400 has double that of CB. So things get that much easier. We don't use full power always because we don't apply full throttle always, but when we need it, it's desirable to have it.

@@abbassayyad31 can't comment about new Pulsar 400 because I have not ridden it. Between cb 350 and speed 400 if you like pure classic chrome looks, if you like the thump, if you like more milage, if you dislike heat from engine, if relatively tight suspension is ok. Go for CB 350. If you like very nimble bike, plush suspension, almost double power than cb 350, if less milage is no problem, then go for speed 400. Pulsar 400 seems to be more like Speed 400. Then the last factor is price of each bike.

Nowadays bikes are being sold by creating Hype - i hv done Zanskar, Spiti (2 times), Sach Pass & Killar Kishtwar as well as many other terrains on my RTR 200 4v BS 4.... It all depends upon the rider & skills....😎😎
@travelbite6 ай бұрын
I agree that riders' skills are the most important thing when it comes to such terrain. But different bikes with different capabilities make them more or less comfortable or likable for much terrain. And we have to agree on that new bikes being launched now a days are better equipped with latest technology and its good if someone planning to change thr bike. Else whatever bike u own will do Ladakh if in good condition
