I don't agree with what Satish says that mumbai has no culture. It has culture, what has happened is due to fast paced life style. People often find difficult to save time for cultural activities and festivals. Still Ganesh Utsav is staple festival of Mumbai. Although it's roots come mainly from Pune, Ratnagiri and Coastal cities because majority of marathi population which resides in Mumbai is from these districts. Anyone who wants to see culture of mumbai should visit the city during Ganesh Utsav. True mumbaikar who is born and brought up here still has lot of things to cherish.

पहले बड़ा लगता था पर अब छोटा लगता है, ऐसी बात जो सतीश जी ना की है उसका मेरे पास एक hypothesis है और वो भी रियल experience से , जैसा कि उन्होंने कहा कि हो सकता है जिन गलियों को मैदान को वो बचपन में बड़ा मानते थे अब वो छोटा लगने लगा है और वो कारण देते है एक संसायात्मक लय के साथ की हो सकता है हम छोटे थे हमारे कदम नन्हे थे , जी बिलकुल हो सकता है पर मेरे पास एक और रीजनिंग है मुझे याद की जब में पहली बार लक्ष्मीनगर metro station गया था , उस दिन में बस चारों और देखे ही जा रहा था क्योंकि वो नया था मेरे लिये, जैसे की कोई मेट्रो आ रहा तो में उसे देख रहा हूँ, जा रहा है तो उसे भी देख रहा हूँ, भगदड़ को देख रहा हूँ , मेट्रो स्टेशन के बाहर hordings लेगी हुई थी तो उसे देख रहा हूँ , मतलब सब कुछ देख रहा हूँ, वो इसलिए कि वो नया है और मेरे पास new data points हैं gather करने को पार में जब उसी मेट्रो स्टेशन

दो साल बाद गया तो मुझे वो छोटा लग रहा था, और वो इसलिए कि अब मुझे मालूम था कि लेफ्ट में क्या राइट में क्या है, मेट्रो आती कैसी दिखती है जाती कैसी दिखती है, उस मेट्रो स्टेशन का एक 3D मॉडल मेरे दिमाग़ में अंकित था जिस वजह से में उस भवर को नहीं देख पा रहा था जो में पहली बार देखा था, क्योंकि क्लैरिटी थी तो वो भवर भी रुटीन सा प्रतीत हो रहा था, मानो मुझे पता है सब कुछ यहाँ के बारे में, ये जो भवर हैं ना यही जगहों को आकार देती हैं , अगर उस जगह के बारे में पता ना हो और आप पहली बार दुख रहें हैं तो आपको बड़ी लगेगी पर ज्यों ही वो जगह आप रोज़ देखना सुरू करते हैं और फिर कभी बहुत दिनों बाद उस जगह पर जाते हैं तो वो इमोशनल रश आप फील नहीं कर पाते जो आपने पहली दफ़ा किया था क्योंकि इस दफ़ा आपको उस जगह के बारे सब पता है और आप उस भवर को समझने की कोशिश नहीं कर अपितु उस भवर को बस देख रहे हैं , और यही उस जगह को पहले के मुक़ाबले छोटा बना देती है।

Deep insightful person is Satish Ray. Poora hatke. Good to see Indian creators thinking of quality & depth more than mediocre content which brings more numbers. Because, the fact of the matter is that most Indians follow a herd mentality and may not or do not wish to think too much of a thing or act. If you look at the comments under successful Indian travel vloggers, you will hardly see any comments about the travel, destination, culture, experience but 90% of comments will be 'love from Jhansi' or 'Jai Hind' or 'Very good bhaiya' etc. So less quality viewers means less quality feedback. Its good for creators or vloggers who only care about numbers as numbers bring the money, but at the end every vlogger will think he/she has such low IQ fans. or viewers.
