Major reasons why BJP lost in UP ( I'm from UP): 1. World sees Ayodhya Ram Mandir, but what they don't see is that locals were deprived of their lands near the temple, for them their livelihood was dependent on the flowers, prashad, garlands etc. Not a single Shop after renovation was given to the locals, you can check on the ground level majority shop owners now in Ayodhya are either Gujaratis or the rich business man, they don't even let locals to be waiters in their new restaurants. There was sudden surge in the prices of everything, for instance, earlier the auto rickshaw fare was 10 Rs. now it has been increased to 40-50 Rs. (and even 60 Rs. in some areas), people already losing their source of income, found it difficult to cope up with this price hike. And the worst part was BJP candidate from Ayodhya, talked about changing the constitution when BJP comes to power. 2. Unemployment and Paper Leaks were other two major reasons for the loss, the unemployment rate was increasing day by day the paper leaks made it worse, also the protesting students were beaten up by the UP police. Voters in the Sambhal districts were beaten by police to stop them from voting (as the constituency was Muslim Majority). 3. The farmers in the UP were very Angry with the government policies, the Government employees were demanding for the old pension schemes that were condemned by the BJP-Govt. Agniveer Policy of Govt. was disappointing for the youth who wished to serve in the Army. After IIT-BHU student r@pe incident, those 3 criminals were being saved by the UP govt, and the govt was trying to erase the proofs against them. 4. The over-confidence of BJP of claiming "400 paar" destroyed them. Their core voters said that BJP has already won the elections, why to waste time, meanwhile Congress and SP did everything to boost their voters to step-out and vote, their ground level performance was insane. They spoke about the real issues like Unemployment, Inflation, job creation etc., which resonated with the public, especially youth while the BJP workers relied only on "Modi-Brand", Ram-Mandir, Religion, Caste etc... 5. No doubt Yogi Ji bought huge investments in UP, but he failed to implement that in the villages of UP. There are so many villages and even towns in UP where the drainage system is in improper condition, there are potholes on the roads which are not repaired even after 7 years of his rule. He focused on the Rapid Rail and National Highways, (which are equally important), but failed to look at the local levels and villages. I'm ready to have your views on this..... 😊😊

I am from odisha. I don't follow any political view against any party and loon at it as a neutral citizen. From my perspective: Bjb and Modi were too focused of getting odisha against the BJD , the biggest domestic party here. And like UP. Bjd ne bhi kuch actions nhi liya. Infact mene Bjd ko ek baar bhi propoganda karna nhi dekha, mostly bjp or congress. And I will say, yet people didn't approve Bjp as their Leader, it was until The leader of The Bjd, Naveen Patnaik, who gave his Seat to his right hand man VK pandian. Then you know the rest 😂 No one likes VK pandu + no Extra support = no choice but to vote someone who can atleast Kepe the state on itself = Bjp. I will also say that it was good move for the I.N.D.I.A alliance to not try to fight against Bjp in Odisha, which let to their Having more control in other places. The situation: It's not like everyone hates modi, it's just that Bjp is not gonna focus of Odisha as much as the other northern states.

Bhaiya the main reason is that every single government job holder is unsatisfied by YOGI JI's new pension scheme and many teachers who are working for the govt. School are paid like nothing among which my mother is too and this year they forced them to vote so this happened. They used to take leave and still they were paid high. My one friend is a government employee and he hate bjp because before 2014 they actually used to get extra money or black money for no reason. Bjp just forced the people to follow and do work accordingly. And they had given compensation to the public so stop lying. Supreme court is not mad that they will let government do this they should have notice to do that. The construction company actually wanted to make a road. And when you do development to make road they actually destroy the homes coming in between and give them compensation. Half of the houses were illegally built by people. They did not have property papers. In up there are many people who actually built house in illegal property more than 200 cases were reported. Still those people got compensation and land. Also. Many anti bjp channel themselves reported that people got compensation. So stop lying. And you people actually say that it was supreme court who decided to built ram mandir not bjp so why are you blaming bjp for it. And third "why you gave vote for akhilesh yadav who killed hindu karsevak and demolished houses of people when he was cm. He used to capture illegal land to give to mafia.
