He was actually embarrassed bc he doesn't think he should LOWER himself to work such a job. Not so much about money as it was about ego. He knows he blew everything he had with Stern and Leno, but will NEVER admit it. Any other former announcers from the Tonight Show working a 9-5ver or gig job? NOPE, hahahha.

He does not have an Uber driving multi millionaire friend. Soneone who knows how to make their money work for them is wasting their time every minute they are behind the wheel, because it takes your entire attention when you could be calling people and moving money around and all of that.
