I've been obsessed with Coffee Addict from Theodoros Kalontinis. It's a very simple 4 note frag of Coffee, Caramel, Vanilla, and Cacao Pod. To me, it smells like a warm, sweet brewed coffee first thing in the morning, it's easily the most gourmand, rich, and realistic coffee smells of the ones I've smelled so far. A standout frag for me this week is Brain Dance from Broken Anatomy Perfumes. The bottle alone is super unique, the cap is a gigantic ceramic brain! The scent is unique too, it starts out smelling a bit like D&G K, but in the drydown it smells like a photorealistic stick of black licorice. I'm not the biggest fan of licorice, but I'm super happy to have the scent in the collection, it's definitely my most unique looking bottle

L’homme ideal cologne is in my top 10 of all time , a lot of people were pissed with platine prive when it came out because it was so simple to the cologne but I was happy as could be , I could get something so close and not use up the one bottle of cologne I’ve got

It's amazing how scents can trigger memories. I love Dunhill Century but love Century Blue even more, especially the floral aspect to it. I'll have to check out Burberry Indigo, you've mentioned it a few times and it sounds like something I'd like. And you're right, the Ideal Cologne is fantastic! For me last week, we had a couple of cooler days that dipped down into the low 40's at night so I was able to wear some new colder purchases: Sun- JPG In the Navy, Mon- Dunhill Century Blue (yeah!), Tues- Lalique Encre Noire Sport, Wed- Nishane Kredo, Thurs- Nishane Afrika-Olifant, Fri- Nishane Pachuli Kozha (absolutely delicious!) and Sat- Nishane Safran Colognise.

@@gerardgeorge I've picked up quite a few Nishane fragrances lately, they've been exceptionally priced for Father's Day. Kredo is their twist on TF Oud Wood (much less expensive and very long lasting), Afrika Olifant is supposed to be animalic, but I don't really get that, and Pachuli Kozha is dark and sweet with honey and patchouli and is the best I've tried all year! It's absoutely incredible.

Great list this week. I really like Tumi Kinetic but I've never gotten the Sauvage comparison, but maybe I'll go back and smell them both again. Really glad you like L'omme Ideal Cologne, I know we've talked about it a few times. I own the full line of L'omme Ideal, and I don't think there's a wrong answer on which is the best one. You mentioned the EDP, and I actually wore that one to a nice dinner date with my girlfriend and I love it too. L'omme Ideal Cologne might be my all time favorite summer scent, and I think your review is spot on. The citrus and almond is unreal. The listed notes are grapefruit, bergamot, lemon, neroli, and pink pepper, but I swear to god the citrus and neroli to me has always blended into lime. And you're right, if you put it on clothes it will stick around for a while, but it's subtle.

While Guerlain L'Homme Ideal Cologne is discontinued (therefore hard to find and usually pricy), last year's Guerlain L'Homme Ideal Platine Prive is really, really close. It's also pricey and not on discounters very often, but way easier to find than the Cologne, and definitely easier to get a decant. On Saturday night I tested/wore Tommy Vibrant Summer I grabbed from Burlington and it's a really good flanker. Theme this week was warm weather scents that project hard off of my skin: S -- Lattafa Asad M -- Armaf CDNIM Milestone Tu -- Armaf CDNIM Iconic W -- YSL Y Live Th -- Bvlgari Wood Neroli F -- Parfums de Marly Greenley Sa -- Reyane Tradition Insurrection II Pure Extreme

I own both (and way too many other Guerlains) and while my hope was that it was a stealth re-release, they're honestly different enough. It's like saying L'omme Ideal Cologne is the same as Cool. They're all in the same block, but they're different enough. The major differences between Cool, Cologne, and Platine Privee are: Cologne is creamier Cool is minty Platine Privee has fewer, but fresher citrus notes. All three are worth owning.

But I never recommend blind buying to those who don’t already play that game, and I think they’re close enough that if you like one, you’ll probably enjoy the others (some people gripe about Cool) so try whichever of these you can.

I was wearing Guerlain Ideal Cologne this weekend and I was walking through Copley Mall and the barista at Blue Bottle commented on it, so it has some push. The one thing I was sure of was that you weren’t gonna hit us with rack store hauls off of Newbury 😂 That TJMaxx is so bad

Just two for the week Nautica N-83, Vince camuto homme intenso,we are very warm most of time right now.i was at Sephora tonight picked up 10 ML of YSL MYSELF after testing it's good,also had a chance to smell CK aromatic essence newest flanker thought it smelled good. Great lineup and thanks for asking about Fred! He seems to be slowly improving. The vet thinks its a slipped disk which unfortunately is very common in his breed and requires considerable rest and recovery.

Zero agreement with Tumi. If I did I would state it clearly. Also, the only way I would work with a brand is if I actually like them and wear them. I wear what I like and talk about it. I can understand why you would think that though because there are people who don't disclose that so I get it. Brands have asked me to not say anything and I have told them to go pound sand.
