Unforgettable journey: Prime Ministers of Australia and Papua New Guinea trek the Kokoda Trail

Join Australian Prime Minister, Hon. Anthony Albanese, and Papua New Guinea Prime Minister, Hon. James Marape, on an unforgettable journey along the historic Kokoda Trail. Described by Prime Minister Albanese as "walking in the footsteps of giants," this two-day expedition took them from Kokoda to Isurava between April 23-24, 2024.
On Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Isurava, both prime ministers commemorated ANZAC Day with a poignant Dawn Service, honoring the valor of those who fought on these hallowed grounds.
In this second installment of a three-part series, watch as Prime Ministers Albanese and Marape, along with Northern (Oro) Governor Hon. Garry Juffa, embark from Kokoda Station to Deniki in the rugged mountains.
