Watch video of printing press businessman Solomon Yuyitung talking to columnist Wilson Lee Flores about republishing of a book about the sensational 1971 Philippine Press Freedom case involving the Yuyitung Brothers, the victims of injustice were his late father "Chinese Commercial News" publisher Quintin Yuyitung & his late uncle Rizal Yuyitung. The Chinese Commercial News is the oldest Chinese-language newspaper in the Philippines, a progressive publication established in 1919 by Wilson Lee Flores' granduncle pre-war 20th century Philippine "Lumber King" Dee C. Chuan.
The book compiles writings of top writers of 1970s like late National Artists Nick Joaquin & Alejandro Roces, Max Soliven, Jose F. Lacaba, Teodoro "Teddyboy" Locsin, Jr., etc. defending the Yuyitung brothers, who were victims of red-tagging & anti-China black propaganda. They were illegally detained & deported to Taiwan for publishing only articles from Reuters, Agence France Presse (AFP), etc. about China, so they were defamed & demonized as pro-China, allegedly pro-Communist & therefore supposedly bad guys.
