The camp is set in an open savanna, characterized by vast grasslands dotted with acacia trees, making it an ideal hunting ground for these magnificent cats. Lions are particularly abundant around Satara, and it's not uncommon to hear their powerful roars echoing through the night. These lions are often seen in large prides, lounging under the shade of trees or stalking prey in the early morning or late afternoon.

@@wilkinsonsworld yes! 3 times I’ve stayed at Crocodile Bridge, Skukuza, Berg en dal, Mopani and been to the rest except orpen. For game viewing definetly Satara or Berg en dal. Berg en dal for wild dogs and leopards, Satara for everything. The camp itself I like Mopani as it is very quiet and relaxing aswell as Beeg en dal
