Would love them to stand in for the Taskmaster & Alex once. Though this show somewhat compliments TM, the joy of embarrassment;o)

Favourite new-ish double act. I was in the audience for one and unsurprisingly, Mel makes the boring tech bits go by so quickly. Well, or there's hilarious faff, but it doesn't feel like 3 hours anyway.

Great show! I love the pairing of Mel and Lou. How is Lou still not married? some guy has missed out on the perfect woman! The thing I love about Lou is she has no filter she just says what's she's thinking at the time, my kind of woman.haha, also this show is on the BBC in the UK now! so many more series to come then ironically repeated on Dave later so its a win win! I'm a bit worried that Dave are losing their best shows though, first they lost Taskmaster to Channel 4 now They've lost this to the BBC. I hope you keep on giving us great shows U & Dave please don't lose Hypothetical especially not to those thieving scummy Netflix!

@@jessrichmond3750 Thanks! I thought maybe it was Nina Wadia at first but then wasn't sure (as I've only seen her in Hitmen and guess I was influenced by having Mel sitting next to her haha). Looking at Syal's IMDB, seems I probably recognize her from Doctor Who... though I've seen a few of her other shows but don't recall her specifically. Thank you so much!

I'm not sure, but I THINK I had a raging row with Mel in Leatherhead. I worked there for years, and lived there for three.... I think my friend was hitting on her friend, and she tried to get rid of him - as "wingman" I stepped in to remove the obstacle and me and her had a blazing row, having been ejected by security. Of course the couple coupled anyway - they always do. If Mel reads this - say what pubs / bars you drank in back then... most are gone now, so we'll know if the story is true! Oh - and we're talking any time 1996-2006 that period. And if I'm right - pretty sure there was a second argument 2 years later....

@alexskelton41506 сағат бұрын
No one says this about James acaster or Sam Campbell. Persona is a really important part of comedy; you just don’t like women. Makes me think of Virginia Woolf: “Then why did she mind what he said? Women can't write, women can't paint--what did that matter coming from him, since clearly it was not true to him but for some reason helpful to him, and that was why he said it? Why did her whole being bow, like corn under a wind, and erect itself again from this abasement only with a great and rather painful effort?” You see women being funny and charming, getting reactions you’d like to get, and you can’t stand it. Suffer.
