Getting a lot of 7 Wonders: Duel vibes off this, though that's not a bad thing. Quick question, though: around the 23:00 mark when Rahdo's trying to convince the juror, doesn't he also need another gallows die in addition to giving up two spaces on the reasonable doubt track? And wouldn't he also have to wait till his next turn to grab another card to discard and do the convincing action?

He has the Gallows he needs in the Blue card he has in play... but you are correct that to convince that Juror he would have to wait until his next turn and Convince him has his action for the turn... note added... thanks

very difference gameplay. lawyer up is much more direction confrontational and also has stronger thematic integration. this one is more puzzley and euroey :)

So, your comment led me to do a little research. The British slang of "Gordon Bennett!" is referencing the James Gordon Bennett on the card's son. Apparently back in the day, his son led a wild extravagant life style spending his fathers money.

Was actually very surprised to find VMI in the game. At the beginning of the vid I saw the card and was like, "Wait a minute...that looks like VMI." Sure enough, when you read the card title I knew I was right. Trying very hard not to go all history geek here about VMI and thr Shenandoah Campaign that Hunter's Raid was a part of.🤓
