I am glad Timothy came around but his initial response was really off. Kemi didn't give her body to another man. She was raped by her former crush. She was made comfortable in his house under a lie that his wife was around. Her mistake was that why should she have followed an old crush home. Not knowing his marital status. That was her bad judgment. She didn't offer her body to Kunle. It is bad to automatically blame women for the wrongdoings of men. As for Lizzy, I am speechless that a new bride could have done that to her groom right from the wedding night. Na she suppose suffer. Big ups to Eben who loved her but handed her weak moment in a godly way. Funke needs help. Great film. Part 2 is imminent. God bless the entire cast and crew. ❤

I was thinking the same, as in why is everyone making her the bad one...she was raped, right from the start the man had hidden agenda because he said if I tell her my wife is not around she will not come with me... So he already had conceived the evil; she is the victim accepted she was dull in perceiving but doesn't make it less that she was raped.

Overall I enjoyed the movie but I have a problem with some aspects of it. First Kemi, I disagree that Kemi was tempted in anyways- she ran into an old friend who lured her to his home and made her feel comfortable by lying about the status of his marriage. He intentionally deceived her that his wife was coming home, which made her feel safe enough to stay in his home. Secondly, she did not offer her body to him- he RAPED her and instead of anybody showing compassion to her, they all blamed her. Thirdly, despite Kemis fiancée being a Christian, he blamed her for the assault committed against her and walked away from their engagement, leaving her alone to deal with what was going on in her life- this was so triggering! I can make allowance for the fact that he was distressed to learn something so serious but no display of emotional intelligence. When she said she was going to an old school mate- why didn’t he refuse? Then the the man who raped her, instead of taking full responsibility for his wickedness, which was just ridiculous. 🙄 granted, she was wrong to deny him her body out of punishment and spite as per scripture but he is responsible for his behavior. Lastly why did kemis fiance need to forgive her- rather he was the one in need of her forgiveness for blaming her then abandoning her when she needed him. Overall, all glory to God still but very over movies that continuously blame women for everything that men do 🙄

Why do men treat rape victims like this. You blame women or the girls who are victims of rape as if it’s their fault. It is not fair to blame rape victims like that. You leave the man to go score free and you blame the victim. Do you really know how it feels to be raped or forcefully taken something so dear to you. Or for someone to force themselves on you and you can’t defend yourself no matter how hard you try. I love your movies but this scene got me upset.

Godly concept but my suggestion is that Gospel movies should have scenes that are real in our world. This channel has by the grace of God grown pass making mere people vanishing and appearing with some effects in movies. Please that the concept of the ritualist appearing and disappearing is never real in our chrisitan life during prayers or church services. Every content in a movie paints an image in the viewer's mind and such action can be replaced with a better one. The best way could be that the man of God could have had a revelation of that spirit being cast out during the prayers and could share that so that they all pray along. I have never seen any spirit or demons physically appearing in church since i became a Christian. (For we wrestle not against flesh and blood). Our African traditions shouldn't impact our Christian movies. Thank you and God bless you.
