Sometimes a referee's call can change the outcome of a game. In this clip taken from Draw 12 of the 1987 Canadian Men's Brier between NL Mark Noseworthy and AB Pat Ryan, there was an incident in the 9th end that could have changed the outcome. You will see NL team member, Rob Thomas touch a stationary rock. In the replays pay close attention to how much he moves the rock. After the replays, an official moves the rock back to where he thinks it originally was. Was he correct or not, you decide. It was extremely important for the next shot. Mark did get his two points with a super cool draw to go ahead one point. In the 10th end AB got 1 point to tie. The 11th was blanked and Mark took the game with 2 in the 12th.
