They never go to the outlets that are a half mile away. They have the Disney character warehouse and a vineyard vines outlet. It’s cheap and nice. Disney springs is a tourist trap. Fun to go to, but come on.

Cattle farmer here. What you are eating is probably American Wagyu and not Japanese Wagyu. American Wagyu is a cross between a Wagyu and an Angus. True Japanese Wagyu is purebred. The Japanese also carries with it certain animal care traits. The cost is drastically different. American Wagyu is $15 - $40 dollars per pound and Japanese Wagyu is $120 - $300 per pound. If the restaurant is telling you it is Japanese, I think they aren't being truthful. Since I don't know the cost of your steak, I can't be 100% sure.

That store is probably for the tourist customers. When I lived in Honolulu, I worked at a major department store and we sold thick coats during the winter. We had a lot of tourists.

I went to Summerhouse a few weeks ago. Service was not good and the food was just ok. I didn't think it was anything special. I'm not in a hurry to eat there again. However their cookies were great and I will stop in at the cookie bar for cookies to go.
