Unhauling 40+ Books

The Ravens by Danielle Paige and Kass Morgan, which I read in June, was almost a 5star, then toward the end the writers made a choice which totally wrecked everything, and even a character I like I feel they did not handle well int he closing chapters. It is getting a sequel, and there are ways they can fix the mistake they've made, but noneof them are ideal. I am keeping it though, it gave me a fair amount of joy and I can always reread the cute romance scenes, but gosh, when I pick up a bad book, it's bad throughout with just tiny glimmers of goodness maybe, it doesn't make sense to me that the same wouldn't be true of all books that should have a 5-star rating other than a ridonculous choice.

I understand what you mean. I have The Ravens but haven't read it yet and I look forward to reading it at some point in the future. My thoughts are that I have so many books that I want to read and only so much space that I just don't keep anything that I don't think that I will read again in the future. That way I can make room for the books that I am more interested in reading.

Give the Hobbit another chance I bet you'll like or maybe even love it because you like fairy tales and retellings it is a children's story not like LOTR

I think that may be one that I have already gotten rid of, but I'm sure that I could find an audio book of it on Scribd or Hoopla.
