Although I'm a native English speaker Unheilig and this song have helped me through so much. I'd rather listen to something meaningful in German than turning on the radio and listening to songs about shaking booty. I clearly remember the first time I heard this song. I know a smattering of German, but not enough to know what the song was about. The emotion and beauty of the song sang so loud that I told the DJ "whoever this man is singing about, is loved more that any other." He smiled and told me the story behind the lyrics....my heart was both warmed and broken at the same time.

Good job, Dave. I'm bilingual and I think it's really difficult to translate what amounts to poetry from German to English. There are simply turns of phrase which just can't be translated well, but this was really excellent! The graphics were good too. Thank you for uploading and putting all the hard work into making this!

@peter7krejci7 Peter, thank you for your comments and concern over the translation. I actually wasn't the one who translated this, a friend of mine did. I just decided to make a video with the translations so that people who didn't speak in German could understand the words, since English is the most common language. If you have a better translation, please let me know. I can always redo the video and update the English subtitles.
