I dont understand why there were no welfare checks done on Louise at any point. And I don't understand how her mother didn't take matters into her own hands. Honestly, why would Brent get life without parole? He should get life with parole after 25, and Cherylle should get life without parole, or at least, he should get the same sentence as Cherylle. Besides, he was 16 at the time. Can't the system just try him as a juvenile?
