Hi, if in the second year you wanted something like a studio to live in the Court house in Mutley (next door to Aldi) is lovely and I believe actually cheaper than Astor!

Likewise. There are other private shared houses which are 60-90 pw with electricity and water included. You should also see for those... :)

Hi, love your videos, I got admission into the university of Plymouth for MSc Business analytics for September 2022 and I will be moving to Plymouth with my spouse all the way from Nigeria.Will need an accommodations, probably a room just like yours, could you please advise on how to get and what the cost could be. His, so sorry for the late reply. Have you checked out amber students? The cost varies on the type of room you want and the cost changes each year, which is why I would refer you to their website. I am sure there is an international student community but I am not part of them so unfortunately I can't add anyone to the group, however if you go on the society page you should be able to register your interest. Hope that helps

I recieved an offer from the medical school and have firmed it! Would you say Astor House is a good halls for med students since we have to travel a lot to North Campus, do you need to buy a buss pass? How far is it from main campus?

hi there, im firming Plymouth aswell. Was at an offer holder day there and majority of the time you spend in the city centre campus so don't get accommodation near Derriford Hospital! Astor house is about a 15 min walk from where lectures are gonna be. Th year students also really recommended astor house and according to the receptionist there quite a lot of 1st year and 3rd year medics are at astor. hope this helps :)

hi, do you know many health care students staying in Astor? Im starting in September and am mainly based in the north campus. Has this been an issue for anyone? I really love the look of Astor but don't want to make it really difficult for myself with getting the bus etc and being far out xx

I'm not a medic student but my flatmate was at Astor. I knew quite a few medics stayed there. The only issue with being a bit further from the uni is you have to wake up / leave earlier I would say it's probably a 15-minute walk to where you would be. Between Astor and the uni is the town centre with all the buses so it shouldn't impact that :)

They do and they don't. It's hard to explain. So I will refer you to their website www.plymouth.ac.uk/about-us/university-structure/service-areas/equality-diversity-and-inclusion/sanctuary-scholarships or I will be able to explain better when I make my video on scholarships but that will not come out anytime soon.
