What's that Trion part? FPGA or some weird RISC-V variant or UniT DMM ASIC? OK, it's an FPGA from Efinix, never heard about them, before.

LTZ1000 would be a bit overkill for 6.5 digit. They still use something like the LM399 for this.

My tested and accurate Fluke 8506 uses a SZA263 refamp (custom fluke-part made by Motorola no heater whatsoever). In 7.5 digit mode (10 V) its accurate to the last digit (compared to a lab). In the old days Fluke claimed 5 ppm dc accuracy :D

LTZ1000 isn't needed for 5.5Digit for 6.5 they usually use LM399 or similar alternative.

In 6 and 1/2 digits multimeters they use LM399. LTZ1000 is used in 7 and 8 digits multimeters. Thank You for this teardown video!

Hey kerry I really appreciate your content I wanted to ask you if you can do a review on HTI HT18 plus thermal camera .

The distance from the guard traces to the resistor chains for protection is in some places rather small. So I would be careful with higher voltages, like 230 V mains.
