haha i got this notif while i was at the club. clubbing every night was just for freshers - i've toned it down now. it's defo a struggle bc i have 9ams everyday bar monday and i have 4/5hrs lectures, so the tiredness sets in after lunch. personally, because i know exams are in january, i think it's worth it to be tired if i get to go out (and i can salvage a lot with black coffee in the morning). i guess it would vary a lot based off how much you liked clubbing, how much having little sleep affects you etc. also may be my fault for taking maths - some of my flatmates who take different degrees get fridays off or don't have lectures till 3pm so would be a lot easier to sleep in that case :p

noo that's not rude at all. I applied to Oxford originally and unfortunately my entrance exam wasn't strong enough! also, it's extremely competitive and all of the other people i met applying were so clever that i think there's an element of luck/timing. hopefully second time lucky though (first time lucky for you :p).
