I had magenta and aqua ombre I wish I thought to blend it that way I like it and your mistakes still looks like something that was on purpose which every artist does ... I see mixing colors can be tricky because though I thought it wasn't enough magenta in your mixture I still expect it to be way more purple than that but the colors look nice where they blended and where they didn't cool shapes ... I'm doing my hair 3 shades of purple so this was really helpful thanks 👍

I don't know man, I really like it! I think it suits you up or down but it certainly does to look awesome up like that. I tried a different blue from ion and it really stained my hair. I only had it in a bit of the blond parts I have so I left it for a while. You might already know about this but what I ended up doing was mixing some bleach, developer, and shampoo (I used clarifying shampoo, not sure if it matters) to do like a soap cap and it worked really well! Just wanted to mention it just in case it stains, if you already knew about doing that then even better. Overall I like how it turned out C:

+NamelessDread thanks so much. and yea thats actually exactly what i do before changing to a new color. this is only my third time using ion and so far im not too big of a fan. it fade so quickly, even in ice cold water. but i do put my hair through a lot so idk. thanks for your thoughts!

Is there a trick to how you rinse it? When I tried doing pink and blue my whole head of hair end up purple after rinsing out the dye.

The colder the water, the better, otherwise it's going to have to do with the color/brand itself

I think it's adorable. Sure, some parts didn't process fully, but who cares? Just looks like you meant to have some much paler bits in there, since most unicorn hair has very pale pink/nearly white sections. And it's still better than boring hair! It's super cute up, too. Really looks like a unicorn tail!

Its so pretty and I’m doing this for a client of mine who wants a wig colored, I’d deff be overjoyed to be able to show you my results!!! I love the technique you used with alternating as well!!! Super smart!!! Idk if you have ever seen but there’s a woman who does crazy color she uses like shaving cream and then like randomly squirts different colors down the hair shaft! You should look it up it’s amazing!

This is actually the exact color of my hair right now. My roots are coming in (I'm a dark blonde) and I'm trying to transition to my next color choice. I'm having a hell of a time getting this color to just fade!! It's still bold/vibrant even with shampooing my hair and seeing the color rinse out in the water!! So I guess I'm just needing to go straight to bleaching then?? I always wait and let it fade before bleaching so there's less damage. Any suggestions? Thanks, love♡

+Bobbie Kosterow best way to get it to fade it to use the super cheap crappy shampoos or clarifying shampoos. i wish i had the same problem. colors fade out of my hair instantly
