Oh my word 😂🙌🏽I so enjoyed your video💕 I am a Unicorn SPiT affiliate so I was excited to hear about your first experience 💎 I’m a self taught artist who began in oils, got into acrylics and alcohol inks, then moved to Unicorn SPiT. Absolutely LOVE creating with it! Thank you for such a cool and thorough review m🙌🏽 JSYK.. once sealed.. the vibrancy comes back🙌🏽💕

Ah glad you enjoyed it! This is a rather old video lol but if I remember right I quite enjoyed the paint! 😁😁

SPiT dries chalky / pastel to tell you when it’s dry so you make no mistakes when sealing. When you seal the color turns vibrant again 😘

I love Unicorn Spit! If mixed with Elmers school glue and applied to glass, it looks like a stained glass effect.

I know I'm super late to the party however I was actually going to ask about the Stained Glass effect... Is it translucent when you apply it to glass?

It dries to a chalky color that's how you know it's dry. Once you seal it the colors pop right back to it's original vibrancy. It should be sealed with a min water based sealer because it's a water based product. I have been experimenting with unicorn spit recently and I love it!

I was so excited when I saw you were reviewing Unicorn Spit gel paint! I have been interested in this paint for ages. I was hoping to see it used on plaster, on metal, and on concrete because those are surfaces I would be interested in using it on. Could you possibly do a second review on the rest of the colours (if you bought them) and include using them on the surfaces I mention...pretty please...asking for a friend lol. Also, if you hadn't mentioned it, I wouldn't have known you had paint on your tash. Thanks for a great video. God bless you Ant!
@AnthonyCrammen2 жыл бұрын
Ah sorry Carly! I tend to only do paint tests once really otherwise it'd be quite repetative, I'm sure other people have tested them on those materials though! But I think they'd work quite well on those materials, not sure whether it would be too great for metal though!

Oooooh I've just been buying some of this, after about 4/5 years of saying I'm gonna buy it! I've got about 6 bottles so far, and some of them are sparkly, too, which have a different scent!! I'm building some up so I'll have colours to mix.

As soon as you paint with oil based sealer or varnish, the bright intensity of the colours comes back

The consistency of Unicorn Spit looks a bit like the corn flour consistency you got in the video comparing acrylic thickener’s. Was it close or just looks like it on cameras? IF was close, do you think I could add some acrylic paint or thickener to the blue and get it to stick to plastic like the yellow instead of bubbling up like water?
@AnthonyCrammen4 жыл бұрын
I don't think it was as watery as the corn flour and acrylic paint combo but it is a liquidy paint but very full coverage. You could try, I do have a feeling it was because of the PVC and might adhere better to other plastic. Alternatively you could seal the plastic with a varnish then use unicorn spit over the top, that should work?
@mrsbarddog66794 жыл бұрын

Definitely do some more research and make another video. I redid my 1970 bench record player and the first time I used the product it Definitely was a trial and error. But it's water based so u can wash it off most stuff if u mess up. There's so many things u can do with it. I Definitely recommend the whole set. It is pricy but I got it right off the bat .

I lobe unicorn spit. You really missed some of the details on using US. Wjen ising on wood you mist with water. After drying you put an oil base top coat ie tongue oil. That seals it and brings back the vibrant colors. Its a whole wonderful world of US

My son and I love using Unicorn Spit because of its versatility. I'm a wood stain artist and he does pour painting. I wish I could attach a picture for you to see the different ways we use it. @@AnthonyCrammen was that a sarcastic remark?.. I wasn’t being sarcastic to you..
