We must never, ever, forget the genius, of the late Thom Bell, and Linda Creed, who wrote this heart felt song. Growing up in Philly, not far from where it was recorded, I first heard it decades ago, on WDAS. And since that time, I've put my heart in my hand many many times, and found love did in fact, come easy. Thank you Linda and Thom. I'm at it again with no doubt, that your simple formula, will help me find love at 68, one more time. Rest in peace.

Beautiful job Russell Thompkins Jr. You could sing a road map and it would have ladies swooning....and men wishing they could sing like you...and they tried . It broke my heart when she died. No remastering. It's from the album. Russell Thompkins Jr and backup by Writer Bruce Hawes, zthom Bell Linda Creed Phil Hirt Bunny Sigler and 3 Philly Angels. MFSB backup. Other 4 zstylistics did not participate in the recordings of first 3 albums and q2 of 14 top hits. It was ALL RUSSELL SINGING . FACT!!
