I use the IOS app all the time when I'm not next to my PC or laptop. I like that it gives you a lot of options as the WEB UI.

I typically use the iOS app for casual monitoring of the network I set up using my PC. FWIW, the VR feature is really awkward to use IF you have a small rack mounted high on the wall the wall that requires a step ladder to access. Much better with a floor standing rack or one you can stand comfortably in front of.

Pretty cool trick and I’ve done it previously , but only have phones and tablets on the wireless network. Always best to stick to wired where possible.

Use the iOS app all the time, like that u can now turn on and off (pause and resume) traffic routes and vpn connections right from the app. Use it to support other clients so I’m not anchored to my laptop or desktop when they need a quick change

Great video, concise and informative as usual. Do you think a similar setup (UDR + perhaps two APs, configured mostly with default settings) would be suitable for a smart but "non-techie" family member? My thinking here is to do initial setup, then set-and-forget until expansion is needed later (perhaps Unifi Protect controlling 2-3 security cameras and NVR).

i have question regarding my home network that I'm planning to restructuring 1: i have 3 bedroom and my first bedroom have ( ISP Fiber Line terminated). 2: i have done bridge connection between ISP router and my Asus router and im using asus router for everything ( Routing, DHCP etc. ) 3: i have 3 Flex Mini and one Switch Lite 8 PoE 4: i have 2 Asus routers My question is im planning to connect Switch Lite 8 PoE to my First asus router that connect with ISP router in ( Bridge Mode) then connect all three flex minis to Switch Lite 8 PoE to provide Internet and PoE and then in 2 bedroom im planning to connect my second asus router in flex mini So this is right approache ? Is there and downsides ? Thanks.

Thanks for the great video. I was using the iOS app quite frequently in the past to change port profiles on switches, but this new version does not work anymore. If you go to a switch, select a port and the "configure" you can see all the settings but none will update. On Android this works just fine. Do you see the same behavior ?

Anyone have problem with iOS and UDR? I'm not detecting the 5ghz channel on a few iphones 11 to 14 pro max. But some do.
