In Thailand, you can get 500/500mbps (download/upload speed) for only 500 baht (RM64). With this price, u could only get 30mbps in Malaysia.🙄🙄🙄 I am not benefited from any of Fahmi's policies.

Hoping 2025 they revise the price again RM 79 100mbps , RM 99 300mbps , RM 119 500mbps , RM 159 1gbps and rm199 2gbps , those should be the standard for price/speed ethernet . Internet is now a daily household usage where everyone should be able to use 😊, of course we won't compare with the cheapest in the world but have to keep up with the minimum.

Please help my friend in Malaysia. She said she subscribed to Unifi Home Plan 100mbps for RM129/month. But then when the bills come it shows an amount between RM200 and RM300. She didn't even use the Unifi to watch TV or to make phone calls; only streaming videos every night. Where did the extra charges come from?

Overseas got offer various speeds (30, 75 and 100 and up mbps) eg This can be seen offered among various ISPs in Indonesia. Why Msia cannot or wont offer this? Looks to me a cartel decision refusing to offer lower speeds If M1 can offer 500mbps for about Rm100, why could we not even have a lower price than that ie SG salary is higher I would think TNB should/be allowed to offer the various speeds at much better price, after all they are just using the electrical grid, and this is already widely distributed nationwide. If there is a cartel but no proper competition, rakyat will be penalised

Basically this "price cut" is an upgrade that benefit some but should have been an actual price cut that benefit all. Fahmi failed.

@soyacincautv Жыл бұрын
If your WiFi router supports 5GHz frequency, it is likely you have no issues getting 100Mbps and above. Ideally, you should get a WiFi 5 or WiFi 6 router for better performance. Another factor is the device that connects to the WiFi router. Ideally, it should support WiFi 802.11ac and above.

@@soyacincautv good explanation but still complicated for me ha ha

Perhaps, you can wait for the free speed upgrade first. And then later decide whether it is necessary to change the router if you're not getting the expected speeds.

The "free speed upgrade" promotion isnt for existing streamyx user, but unifi user. As a stramyx user, i am very disappointed. Untill now, Fahmi is still "syiok sendiri" with a lot useless promotions. if u see their terms and details, it's only target very few people. Fahmi thinks most b40 would pay RM129 to install 100mbps fibre internet. i dont even think those b40 willing to pay more than 50 for internet. His policies are only benefit those T20. i felt regret to vote for PH. PH is nothing different like PN.

Hmm Actually i didnt get much upgrade from the promotion that offered in 2018. Recently, TM announced that all streamyx user can upgraded to unifi for free. However, TM lied to me that the unifi isnt available at my place. How i know? because both sides of my neighbors were using unifi during that time.
@XiJinPing8964_K1_mi Жыл бұрын
Because of this, i rushed to the menara TM, ask their CS from HQ regarding the issue. U know what they say? The CS said, "Apa lagi kamu nak?" and telling me to "bersyukurlah" because many user outside KL still using Streamyx with more expensive price than mine? I do know why they dont let me upgrade to unifi. because i only pay RM38 per month. (for 384kbps) they think they would lose money if they provide upgrade for me! however, during 2018, the price for 500mbps in Thailand is cost only RM70!!! TM was being so ARROGANT toward their user. I dont even understand why PH government still let that Sh*t to continue monopoly the internet service business. Anwar still want to sucks blood from malaysia people in order to cover their government budget. PH government is just another useless government.👎👎👎

It is end of the road for Streamyx and they have already discontinued new registrations since last year. If your neighbour has Unifi, you should be able to make a switch. Best to contact TM or other fibre providers that are available in your area.

@@XiJinPing8964_K1_midon't blame the govt cos they are useless to begin with be it PH, BN or PN... instead, go behind your house, check the telephone pole see whether there's a fibre box (usually white in colour) there and underneath you can see how many holes are left open.. that means there's available ports to connect to... if TM wants to lose your business, then you can opt for maxis or astro cos they will pull fiber to your home using the same fibre box as well... go and do your homework... also can check if TNB got fibre in your area but I doubt it but worth a try...
