5:29 I only use "traditional" motion detections, and it seems that it's only possible to choose AI detection types here for archiving. Is it really so that motion detections cannot be archived?

Archiving to the NAS automatically based on selections is a good feature. Selectively you can back offsite to another Nas from your local Nas.

Do you have to have access and protect running on the same hardware for the integration to work? For example, I have protect running on a unvr, but I have access running on a u-dm se.

I think you should be running Access on the UNVR for the best integration.

Motion, smart detection, and audio recording are all available for ONVIF, 3rd party cameras, when paired with an AI Port. With out an AI port, ONVIF 3rd party cams are limited to continuous recording and PTZ controls, where applicable.

I have 5.2.46 version, but I go to People section, there are no any options for me. I do not have option to select People or Faces and there is no option to search. Do you know why?

I'm confused, I'm running Protect 5.2.42 on a PC and I don't see most of the options you're refering to; no place to select to upload a photo or license plate, etc.

When watching this I got excited for a second at @3:27 as it seemed they may finally have fixed not supporting multiple motion zones, but alas I was incorrect and it only seems to work for crossing lines. UNIFI WHAT IS IT GOING TO TAKE TO BE ABLE TO SELECT A CERTAIN MOTION ZONE FOR AN ALARM!?!?

Video archiving + no rolloff = bad day for your NAS (or excitement for your cloud provider). Love the idea, but incomplete. Also archive of continuous footage would be preferred as not everything is captured by events.

The Unas is a 20 yrs old piece of crap, even caused by the software. And achieving to the device doesn't work with Safari browser. It always generates incomplete files.
