I get where u are coming from. San pedro the town regarded as an island, as it is not attached to mainland Belize. The town sits on ambergris caye, which the caye itself is not a true caye as the landmass is attached to mexico's yucatan peninsula. And that is a fact. And yes, awesome video.

Beaches in Hopkins and the Placencia peninsula. ATM, Barton Creek and Caves Branch caves. Go to the Mountain Pine Ridge region and see Caracol, MANY waterfalls, plus the cool landscapes. Toledo and Orange Walk have lots to see as well.

You will not regret it. Make sure you go to the San Ignacio + San Pedro, Hopkins and/or Placencia. You might consider the Lamanai and Punta Gorda area.

@@ornellamartin6316 for San Pedro I stayed in Caribbean Villas Hotel and in Hopkins was at Lodge Jaguar Reef, a bit expensive but such an experience! The one in San Pedro is like 10 minutes walk from the town! Be careful at night! Don't follow anyone at night somewhere. San Pedro is sketchy at night but just use your intuition!! You're gonna love it

Just a correction San Pedro is an Island. It is in no way connected to the mainland, not even by bridge. The only way to get there is to get there by boat or a domestic flight from Belize city. Great video I'm glad you guys had a great time in Belize.

I recently visited Belize, and while I was there, I visited Crooked Tree island, a Bird Sanctuary, and a paradise. I stayed at Birds Eye View Lodge, located on the ledge of the lagoon, and tI especially enjoyed the boat tours around this freshwater island. It was something like none ever. Also, I was told the names of Tillett, Gillett, Wesby, and Codds had discovered this island while hiding from the British, the Spaniards, as they were all British Pirates from around the mid-1700 century.

A really nice place to visit in the Cayo District is "Belmopan Beach Adventure Park" it's a family owned park located near Belmopan the countries Capital. It has a private "Secret" Beach on the river, Horseback Riding, River Kayaking, Tubing, and some other things were offered as well like I think Beach Weddings and Horse Wagon rides. You can find them on Facebook and Instagram.
