Awesome little lathe! Is the orginal spindle motor RPM being controlled, or is it a new closed loop motor?

Where did you get the CNC conversion kit for your lathe? Do you just use backlash compensation in software? Nice job!

This conversion is my own invetion. Cut parts on laser,drilled them, assembled. I used GT2 belts and pulleys.
