I bought it, saw them on MTV as a kid (heartwork) and was hooked. Had to order the CD from a niche music store in town but loved every song and still do! Luckily they played my hometown in the UK and got to see them live. Still have the ticket stub !

@@misumi75 Carcass's early work was great. Symphonies of Sickness is one of the most groundbreaking grindcore and death metal album. The shit they were doing in 1989 was insane. Then, they changed their sound and broke new ground in melodeath. You don't need to like grind to see how influential they were.

First heard them on an Earache Compilation cassette, in 92’ or thereabouts. Changed how I listened to music thereafter. Carcass always stood out to me as being and having a very diversified sound. No two tracks ever sounded remotely close to another. Exhume to Consume is easily my favorite song by them. Just my 2 cents

I saw iron maiden with 200 others at Bournemouth town hall in 1980 but metal left me although these fellas are Gritty , don’t fuck about and look like they love it. and I remember metal bands looking exactly like these fellas. That is saw music. I’m a fan Thankyou. 🏴😎

The original heartwork album was a 5150 and jcm SLX side by side with a marshall governor pedal. Live I know amott uses JVM 410s
