Special allocation for R&D in this area is revolutionary idea. 7/10 PLI scheme for private in defence:- 10/10 Post offices into Bank with ATM:- Old scheme in new package. Education:- budget increased but not sufficient. 4/10 Vibrant village of border:- Best thing in budget. 10/10 Crypto:- 30% Tax is good for now but we have to increase it time to time, and finally BAN crypto. 1- Allocation in Space/Science/DBT is decreased. How can you give 7/10? 2- Vibrant Villages programme like Parvatmala is small scaled project, according to allocated fund even 25 developed villages isn't possible. 3- Health 6 OMG! It is almost half of the last year budget! We must create more hospitals/medical colleges etc. We may see another pandemic within decade maybe. Last, Developing infrastructure is tough task. If they complete what they promise then it will be of use otherwise most the the allocation may be siphoned out by politician-civil servant-constructor nexus.

I will rate this budget 8/10. Kudos to government to have come with a development oriented budget instead of a populist one given that polls are nearing in 5 states. Literally no freebies. Excellent. Beyond expectation. Positive points: 1) 400 Vande Bharat express in coming years 2) Green Bonds, PLI for indigenous Solar Panels 3) Ken Betwa River Linking; Hydro & Solar energy 4) Populating border villages a good step for national security 5) Parvatmala Project 6) Towards controlling fiscal deficit & inflation 7) Battery swapping policy to support EVs Negative points: Change in Income tax slab would have given some relief to middle class tax payers. They need to be rewarded for contributing to India's development.

Actually she is really practical about the income tax slab because only one percent people are paying the tax and if you see the pie diagram of share a major chunk comes from income tax. If you want development with such a pace you need to pour money in the projects while the people who come under the tax slabs earn and keep it in banks which is literally useless...

8/10 . I think it's a very bold step for a government to offer zero freebies to citizens when there are major elections just around the corner . Very impressed with the portion being dedicated to infra development, both social and physical . Rise of pvt companies in the defence sector is incredible to watch . Parvatmala will enhance tourism and will also prove to be an eco-friendly travel method , especially in mountain areas that are ecologically sensitive. My favourite part about the budget is the special category allotted just for border villages . Better late than never . It's good to see our country finally developing

I would rate the budget a 6/10 if situations were completely normal, but seeing what covid havoc the misgovernance lead us to, I would rate it 8/10 It targeted a lot of needed areas, a lot of new inclusions…a good boost to startups, state’s fund-care etc. etc. A few things whereas stunk a little, education budget still not on par, expected tax did not decrease (tho on some individual items, GST decreased), income tax did not decrease…. More or less this budget is on a good scale, as nifty after a huge fall started to rise again

It is by far the best budget, totally focussed on future growth, creation of jobs and has high potential of taking the country to the next level to counter China. No political agenda of pleasing the middle class. And, yes legalising crypto :) .. 10 on 10.

Afterall it was an average budget with long term growth and development No lollipop and definitely not a Populus one despite of 5 states poll 😀

I think I will give 9/10 As the budget is I am happy to ses that the budget was practical and planned according to long term goals, but I hoped ISRO will get a hike but okay.

govt focusing on growth instead of doing show-offs, it hurts a little bit the middle and poor class but at the end it will change the lives of the people.
