1992 during November Union Pacific 3985 travel from Cheyenne Wyoming to CSX country and with pull a special train over the clinchfield line to Kingsport we will see the train as it departs from other places and a few miles from Cincinnati we will see it going alongside the Ohio River and we will also learn about the history of the engine as well we will learn about when it was built and when the cleanfield engines were sold to the CSX railway before being retired in the late '50s or '60s or something this will be the last time steam would operate on this line before before retirement today 3985 however is going to be restored since it's in silvis Illinois to begin its restoration along with steam locomotive 5511 and once these two engines get restored Union Pacific will have for these engines back up and running along with big boy 4014 and Union Pacific number 844 which are the only steam locomotive to operation right now
