I can just imagine this conversation if 4014 could talk: 4014: "Um...guys...I don't think I was built for this..." Crew: "Nah, it's alright, buddy. You can make it." 4014: "Okay...(gets halfway into the curve with massive overhang) Guys...this is...VERY uncomfortable." Crew: "You're fine." 4014: "I look ridiculous hanging out this far!" Crew: "You're a 4000! It's impossible for you to NOT look majestic no matter what position you're in. Besides, this just means that your articulation is doing what it was meant to do." (4014 finally backs out of the curve) 4014: "Phew! What a relief." Crew: "Great! Now let's do it again!" 4014: "... *Ffff* ! (Censored by whistle blasts)"

they said it could not be done, the catenary wires were in the way, and Millennium Bridge hung so low over the tracks nothing high cube could go under it. Well today Big Boy proved them wrong and this marked UP Steam's return to Union Station before that RTD was skeptical and people said it could not be done now it has been done a Big Boy pulled in and no cars got zapped and no domes hit Millennium Bridge.

Some railroads around the world do like The UK. But to see Steam under wire in the USA is very rare. This is almost like trying to shove a giant steam engine on the NEC 🤣

Ok this is something is should probably already know but I don't so I will ask. Why does it require help to take the curve? And go that slow? Does the weight center shifts so drastically that the train is in danger of tilting off the tracks?
