Union Pacific Trains - Military Train - Bufford, Wyoming, MP 536 with NS (Norfolk Southern) lead

This video in our just passing trains series, is focused on the Union Pacific - Military Train passing Bufford, Wyoming, with NS (Norfolk Southern) lead, UP Mile post 536.0 on September 9th 2022.
This cool catch was a strictly military train consisting of 2 locomotives up front, 74 military cars, loaded with tanks and more, and a rear locomotive. In the beginning of the video you see this train in the distance, winding it’s way through the hills and curves of the Bufford, Wyoming, Sherman Hill summit area and then passing by going around the old Bufford water tower.

Nice video I can't 100% confirm this but I believe this is equipment from the 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team; 1st Infantry Division returning to Fort Riley, KS from National Training Center Decisive Action (Training) Rotation 23-09 @ Fort Irwin, CA. This was in preparation for their Rotation as the 10th Rotational Armored Brigade as part of Operation Atlantic Resolve in Europe.

I was reading an article recently about how many of the tanks are undergoing up to date refits... Especially the engine modules, which are being changed from the original jet turbines to more economical hybrid diesel/electric configurations, and on some of these, I noticed that the engine modules located on the backs are missing...
