Cool looking axe but seems like the handle design would be troublesome.

@@rawbacon yes very troublesome! Which I told the guy. He said he just wanted something for looks for now so that’s what I did. The first handle I made for it. I snapped it just from tapping it with a hammer to seat the head. So ya it’s for looks only.

@@BrianRust89 I wonder if one could steam bend a branch into a right angle?

@@empoweryou1 I bet that you could but depending on the wood it would have to have a 4-5 inch radius probably. Maybe a little more even. Which could still be okay. I thought about drilling a few holes through that short grain and gluing in some oak dowels to strengthen it all. But I just left it alone.
